Uluwatu sunset

The Uluwatu Sunset Tour is one of the most iconic experiences you can have in Bali, combining stunning beaches, ancient temple culture, and one of the most famous sunsets in the world. The afternoon begins at either Pandawa Beach or Green Bowl Beach, two of the Bukit Peninsula's most beautiful stretches of sand. Pandawa is known for its towering limestone cliffs and calm turquoise waters, while Green Bowl offers a more secluded and adventurous vibe with a steep staircase descent to a hidden cove. From the beach, you will head to Uluwatu Temple, perched 70 meters above the Indian Ocean on the edge of a dramatic cliff. The temple is one of Bali's six key spiritual pillars and dates back to the 11th century. Keep an eye on your belongings here as the resident monkeys are famously cheeky and known for snatching sunglasses and hats. The tour wraps up at Blue Point, one of Bali's most legendary surf spots, where you can watch the sun dip below the horizon while surfers catch their final waves of the day. The golden hour light reflecting off the ocean is something you have to see in person. This is a must do for anyone staying at WaveHouse, whether you surf or not.
